Timeless Patents is a fast-growing, heritage-inspired DTC brand that brings historical patent art to life through watercolor design and American craftsmanship. After scaling from $0 to 7-figures in 2025, we’re expanding our team with creatives who can help us build a category-defining brand.


We’re looking for an Organic Social Lead to own our social presence across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts. This is a rare opportunity to join a fast-growing brand early, shape our storytelling, and build a social engine that will fuel long-term growth.


What You'll Do

You will drive both strategy and execution across all organic channels, translating our brand pillars - history, pastimes, and elevated home decor - into content that deepens connection and builds community.

Content Strategy & Planning

- Develop and maintain an organic social strategy that grows reach, engagement, and brand affinity - Develop and maintain an organic social strategy that grows reach, engagement, and brand affinity

- Own the social content calendar and ensure consistent, on-brand publishing - Coordinate social content with email marketing and paid performance teams

Video & Creative Production

- Ideate and script short-form video concepts for TikTok, IG Reels, and YouTube Shorts
- Repurpose existing footage and interviews into multiple video cuts; identify what frameworks perform best
- Direct and manage our video editor to ensure content aligns with platform trends and brand aesthetics
- Design occasional static assets for feeds (graphics, quotes, product-adjacent content, etc.)

Publishing & Community Impact

- Post content across all social channels and monitor performance
- Manage distribution into relevant Facebook Groups and niche communities
- Ensure each platform is utilized to its strengths (e.g., TikTok as a testing ground, Shorts for reach)

NYC Interview Series

- Oversee and coordinate our ongoing series featuring NYC small business owners
- Prep interview structure, manage production logistics, and collaborate on storytelling cuts

What You'll Bring

- Strong understanding of short-form video trends across TikTok, IG Reels & Shorts - An ability to use data to iterate on content ideas (net new, repurposing)
- Experience owning or supporting organic social growth at a DTC brand
- Graphic design experience for static social feed content
- Ability to craft narratives and scripts that feel human and non-corporate
- Aesthetic sensibility aligned with vintage, heritage, and craft-driven brands
- Experience managing creative contributors (video editors, designers, etc.)
- Organized, proactive, and comfortable owning an entire function

Details

- Commitment: 25-30 hours / week - Compensation: $4k - $6k / month (part-time) + opportunity for profit share - Must be based in New York City for on-location shoots, interviews, and studio content
